Fashion Foward: Rosy Future

Pink gold has been percolating in the fine jewelry market for two years, but it wasn't until recently that pink or rose gold has been used in more thoughtful ways. Now designers and manufacturers are using pink gold to accentuate certain looks or complement particular gemstone colors (notably browns, pales, and black). Rose isn't going to replace yellow and white gold for any retailer. However, as these examples show, rose gold is deliberately being selected as the primary precious metal, creating a fresh look that appeals to the jewelry collector as well as the beginning purchaser.
