Fashion Forward: Beyond the Pale

As consumers continue to thirst for pretty colored gems, there's a pleasing palette of pastel colors that is sure to quench. Instead of a single color, such as pink or blue, reigning supreme, these styles feature an entire array of misty, watercolor pale hues. This palette ranges from mid-tone pastels to the palest of the pale, with the occasional accent of bright saturated color. Besides being feminine and fashionable, pastels are versatile yet classic. They work equally well in white metals, such as sterling silver, or, going into fall, yellow and pink gold adds a warm touch to these cool colors. Moreover, their subtle tones coordinate equally well with this summer's tea-stained colors and fall's neutral oriented ready-to-wear.
